InductEV Names James Wroe as Managing Director of International Ports

The Veteran Port and Shipping Executive Tapped to Accelerate Global Adoption of InductEV’s Wireless Charging Solution 

LONG BEACH, CA, June 5, 2024 – Following the recent opening and staffing of its Long Beach, CA office, InductEV has deepened its bench of veteran port and logistics industry executives with the addition of James Wroe, its first Managing Director of International Ports.  Mr. Wroe will play a pivotal role in growing the footprint of InductEV’s high-power wireless vehicle charging technology across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Mr. Wroe, a Brit, will be based in The Hague, Netherlands. He previously spent two decades with Maersk and P&O Nedlloyd in Europe and Asia leading teams across operations, transformation, and technology. Most recently, he led a multi-billion-dollar global port expansion & technology program for APM Terminals in The Netherlands and, prior to that, served as COO for Maersk in Asia Pacific based in Singapore.

Mr. Wroe joins InductEV alongside other seasoned executives from the port and logistics industries including Samantha Galltin, EVP, Commercial Operations, Gregory White, Chief Revenue Officer, Weston LaBar, Chief Logistics Officer, and Roquita Coleman-Williams, SVP for Enterprise Sales.

To date, the company has delivered over 3 GWh of energy to customers across the U.S. and the EU through its wireless charging network - the equivalent of saving 650 metric tons of CO2.  

Mr. Wroe holds his MBA from Warwick Business School in the UK and a BSc degree in Operations Management from Lancaster University.
